S4C Summer Event
I worked as a freelance exhibition designer in Wales for a leading Welsh graphic design agency. This design presentation won the job of S4C's summer events for my client, beating off stiff competition from 4 other design and marketing companies.
I produced the design concepts for the entire event, housed in a large outdoor marquee. It was essential to think of the visitor experience as they enter the event space. On entering the marquee, visitors were immediately presented with the reception and information point, which was in turn surrounded by 3 curved information boards.
Each different themed area in the space was accessed via a large curve cutout in an equally large curved wall structure, running around the whole perimeter of the space.
Themed areas included 2 theatres, shop, corporate hospitality area, main reception area, games room, and outdoor seating.
I went onto produce full working specifications for the whole event including working drawings for construction purposes.
