Geevor Tin Mine
Working for a Cornwall based design company, I was employed as a freelance museum designer for a number of weeks to assist with proposals for a large museum project.
I worked closely with in house staff, developing a series of concepts and themes for the new displays.
Concepts were developed and presented for a variety of learning areas within the brand new museum space being developed.
The displays were designed to educate visitors on rocks, minerals and geology as well as the process of tin mining.
I was then responsible for the development of these ideas into more resolved concepts. These were visualised in a sketch style in order to communicate the ideas without the client feeling the designs were too resolved.
This type of sketch presentation is how present many of my initial concepts to my client.
